New medical and technical developments for the prevention of possible complications of hip arthroplasty
Today, hip arthroplasty has become a routine intervention with a high proportion of positive outcomes. At the same time, the number of complications of arthroplasty of various natures is only growing, which puts this problem on the social level. The use of hip joint access options is determined by both the surgeon's skills and the possible dislocation of the endoprosthesis head. Particular complexity arises in the case of secondary damage to the hip joints against the background of systemic rheumatic pathology, ankylosing spondylosis, etc. The need to prevent complications and the correct installation of the design elements requires further research and development. Objective. To justify the use of new medical and technical developments that reduce the risks of intra- and postoperative complications during interventions on the hip joint. Results. The posterior approach requires careful mutual orientation of the endoprosthesis elements. Their installation depends both on the anatomy of the femur and acetabulum formed during the treatment and on the convenience of the surgeon's work during the intervention. For this purpose, the option of filing the femoral neck during the posterior approach to the hip joint is justified. The authors calculated the effectiveness of testing a new device for limiting paraarticular tissues during hip arthroplasty. Calculations have shown the advantage of the proposed design in terms of improving the visualization of the surgical wound. Conclusions. The use of means of preventing possible complications caused by the underlying disease and the anatomical features of its course eliminates a number of obstacles to radical interventions
