Ethical Conflict and Reconciliation of the Emotional Data Flow in University teaching Supported by Multimodal Affective Computing
With the in-depth iteration of intelligent education technologies, the large-scale application of multimodal affective computing technology in educational contexts has triggered complex ethical challenges. This paper focuses on the entire data flow chain driven by technology in educational scenarios and systematically dissects the deep-seated conflicts between these technologies and the humanistic values of the education field. These conflicts include the legitimacy of data collection, the compliance and dehumanization of technology applications, and the dual damage to education equity and the development of the main body. To resolve the above dilemmas, a technical ethics impact assessment matrix is introduced to construct a governance framework covering the entire life cycle of the technology. From the reconstruction of intentional ethics, the innovation of means ethics, to the calibration of result ethics, it provides an operational analytical framework and practical path for the technical ethics governance of multimodal affective computing.
