Wsppso Optimization Applied to Electromagnetic Problems
The design of complex electromagnetic systems always starts from a set of physically consistent equations. However, dealing with real scenarios, unforeseen coupling phenomena, incomplete description of the systems, and/or ineffective modeling may result in suboptimal designs. Advanced optimization techniques play a critical role in addressing these challenges by refining suboptimal designs to meet specific objectives. In this paper, a novel evolutionary optimization algorithm inspired by intricate geopolitical conflicts of the classical era is presented. It is tested against classical optimization benchmarks as well as to a common electromagnetic problem showing good results with respect to already well known evolutionary algorithms.
