Simulation of Cabin Flow Field and Improvement of Heat Dissipation for Electric Vehicles under HighTemperature Idling Conditions

To study the heat dissipation in the nacelle of an electric vehicle under parking charging conditions in a hightemperature environment, the flow and temperature fields in the nacelle are analyzed based on hydrodynamic simulation, and the impact of the improved design of the nacelle under-guard on the heat dissipation performance is evaluated by comparing the original scheme with the optimized scheme. The study data show that the optimized design, by increasing the openings and shapes in the nacelle under-guard, the grille air intake is improved from $0.1955 \mathrm{~kg} / \mathrm{s}$ to $0.2250 \mathrm{~kg} / \mathrm{s}$, which is an increase of about 15.3%; the inlet temperature of the condenser is reduced from $70.4080^{\circ} \mathrm{C}$ to $49.8722^{\circ} \mathrm{C}$, which is a reduction of about $29.3^{\circ} \mathrm{C}$; the outlet temperature is lowered from $78.9851^{\circ} \mathrm{C}$ to $58.6754^{\circ} \mathrm{C}$, which is a reduced by about $20.3^{\circ} \mathrm{C}$. The improvement of the lower cabin guard effectively solves the heat dissipation problem of parking charging conditions under high-temperature environments, significantly improves the heat dissipation performance of key components in the cabin, and provides program data support for the thermal management of new energy vehicles under hightemperature environment.
