Research on Safety Issues in Intelligent Vehicles
With the rapid advancement of intelligent vehicle technology, its potential to enhance traffic safety, operational efficiency, and driving comfort has become increasingly evident, while simultaneously introducing new safety challenges. This paper begins by examining the definition and characteristics of intelligent vehicles, then conducts an in-depth analysis of the multifaceted safety issues encountered during operation, including sensor failures, cybersecurity threats, decision-making algorithm reliability, and interaction challenges with conventional vehicles. By systematically reviewing existing research achievements and technological developments, we propose corresponding solutions and highlight future development directions that should focus on improving regulatory frameworks and technological innovation. These advancements will enable a transformative leap from passive safety protection to proactive risk prediction. This study aims to provide valuable insights for the safety design and practical implementation of intelligent vehicles.
