Research on Tire Wear Monitoring and PLC Early Warning System Based on Microcontroller Control

With the rapid development of the automotive industry, tires, as an essential component of vehicles, have a direct impact on driving safety due to their wear condition. To improve the safety and reliability of vehicles during operation, this study proposes a tire wear monitoring and PLC early warning system based on microcontroller control. The system collects tire wear information through sensors, processes data in real-time with the microcontroller, and determines the tire wear status based on preset thresholds. The system uses the AT89C51 microcontroller as the core control unit, integrating the MPX4115 pressure sensor and an advanced Hall-effect wear sensor to achieve real-time monitoring of both tire wear and tire pressure. Experimental results show that the designed system can accurately detect tire wear, with high stability and real-time performance. It effectively enhances tire safety and prevents accidents caused by excessive tire wear. This study provides a novel solution for future intelligent vehicle safety systems and offers significant application value.
