Comparative Analysis of Battery Consumption in 5G and 4G Networks for Video Streaming
In an era of rapidly advancing mobile technologies, understanding the balance between energy consumption and network efficiency is becoming increasingly important. This paper investigates battery consumption during uplink and downlink activities in 4G and 5G networks, focusing on specific scenarios such as video streaming. Battery consumption is analyzed through measurements conducted on a user device, enabling the evaluation of energy usage under various network conditions and different streaming resolutions. The study explores battery consumption efficiency to identify optimal usage patterns for mobile devices in the context of advancing network technologies.
