O CAPITALISMO STAKEHOLDER DA ESG: UMA (NOVA) PRÁTICA ESPACIAL CORPORATIVA VOLTADA PARA O APAGAMENTO DO SOFRIMENTO E DA INJUSTIÇA AMBIENTAL PELA SIDERÚRGICA TERNIUM EM SANTA CRUZ (RIO DE JANEIRO)

The present work to analyze a set of activities developed by the Ternium steel company, and how they form a spatial practice in the territory that they are implemented. Installed in the Bay of Sepetiba, in the Santa Cruz (RJ) area, the steel company is the target of contestations due to harmful effects caused to the local environment. To exempt itself from the complaints, the company makes use of strategies arising from the presuppositions of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and currently under Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) concepts. In our analysis, the repertoire of activities that make up this strategy forms a corporate spatial practice aimed at hiding environmental suffering and injustice generated in the neighborhood.
