EDITORIAL NOTE

Despite a series of steps to address several emerging issues confronting almost all sectors of the human community in Africa, the continent has continued to be confronted with much more challenging issues, many of which impact the path towards peace, stability, and sustainable development. Therefore, this volume is dedicated to focusing on those internal dynamics that continue to pose challenges to the path towards addressing gender issues, societal challenges, decolonization, and financial dilemmas confronting countries across Africa and possible policy options.
