KEGIATAN BLUE LIGHT PATROL QUICK WINS PRESISI FUNGSI TEKNIS SABHARA DI DAERAH HUKUM POLRES BADUNG
The Blue Light Patrol Quick Wins Presisi program is part of a modern policing strategy aimed at increasing police visibility and presence in high-crime areas, particularly within the jurisdiction of Badung Police Resort, which is characterized by intense tourism activity. This initiative seeks to create a sense of security and reduce crime rates through visual patrols using vehicles equipped with blue rotating lights. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Blue Light Patrol implemented by the Sabhara technical function of Badung Police Resort and to identify the obstacles encountered in its execution. The research method employed is empirical legal research with a sociological approach (law in action), emphasizing direct interaction between police officers and the community in operational contexts. The findings show that the implementation of Blue Light Patrol reduced the crime rate by 20% in 2022 and enhanced the sense of safety among residents and tourists. However, several challenges persist, including internal obstacles such as limited personnel, insufficient training, and inadequate infrastructure, as well as external barriers like negative public perception and geographic constraints. Therefore, sustainable solutions are needed through personnel expansion, technology-based training, and strengthened community- police relations to ensure the program’s continuity and effectiveness.
