INSTILLING THE SKILLS OF MODELING ECONOMIC PROCESSES IN BACHELOR'S STUDENTS WITH A LOW LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE OF MATHEMATICS IN THE STUDY OF THE DISCIPLINE "METHODS AND MODELS IN ECONOMICS"
The article considers the experience of developing skills in modeling and analyzing model economic processes by bachelors majoring in "Economics and Management in Construction" at Emperor Alexander I Petersburg State University of Transport while studying the discipline "Methods and Models in Economics". The problems and ways of their solution arising in the formation of modeling skills by algorithmic means of computer technologies and on the basis of the use of the mathematical apparatus on which the computational algorithms are based are presented. The analysis of the process course of studying the discipline gives grounds to believe that the practiced form of the relationship between the mathematical apparatus and algorithmic information technologies has a positive effect on the quality of assimilation of the theoretical material of the discipline, motivating the main part of students to continue studying mathematical methods to the extent that will allow the future economist to solve complex practical problems by modern methods.
