Development and Evaluation of High Quality Large-Size Saccade-Based Line Display with 256-Grayscale
A large-size, saccade-based line display capable of 256 grayscale levels has been developed. To achieve high-quality performance, a high-speed LED driver IC was used, controlled by a PIC microcontroller via direct memory access (DMA) and SPI communication to enable high-speed image flashing. Subjective evaluation experiments were conducted using the developed line display, and the perceptibility of the displayed images was discussed based on the results.
