The article also emphasizes the need to promote research to evaluate the effectiveness of public policies aimed at women in situations of domestic and/or family violence, as well as the importance of collaboration between health professionals, local communities and other sectors of society to break the cycle of violence, while suggesting strengthening the defense of women's rights in the municipality and expanding the assistance network for women in vulnerable situations.
