Synthesis and Characterization of Monometallic and Bimetallic Nanoparticles Derived from Parkia biglandulosa: A Green Approach

The synthesis of nanoparticles was achieved through three main methods, viz. physical, biological and chemical. After studying the literature of all these methods, and also the harmful impact of chemical and physical methods, we opted for biological, i.e. green synthesis of monometallic nanoparticles and bimetallic nanoparticles. Various monometallic and bimetallic nanoparticles have been successfully synthesised and characterised using flower extract. Major Findings: Single and bimetallic nanomaterials were successfully synthesised using a green, sonochemical method with flower extract and characterised through various techniques. UV-Vis spectroscopy, XRD, SEM, TEM, and HRTEM confirmed properties like band gap, morphology, and bimetallic nature. These findings support their potential for future applications.
