Research on GIS-based information visualization technology for social emergency rescue

The efficiency of social emergency response is crucial for disaster management. Geographic Information Systems (GIS), with their robust capabilities in spatial analysis and visualization, have become a key technology for improving rescue operations. However, existing systems still face limitations in data real-time performance, visualization granularity, and intelligent processing. This study proposes a GIS-based emergency rescue information visualization technology that integrates multi-source data, including satellite remote sensing, sensor networks, and manual reporting, to construct an efficient data processing and dynamic visualization framework. The system supports functions such as map annotation, path planning, and zone partitioning, while optimizing user experience through intelligent interactive design. Experimental results demonstrate that the system achieves an average rendering latency of 51.2 to 62.4 milliseconds in scenarios ranging from 8,000 to 16,000 square meters, exhibiting strong real-time performance. This research provides an effective visualization solution for emergency response, advancing the integration of GIS and intelligent technologies, with significant practical value.
