Radar optimal cancellation performance guided automatic gain control method

To address the issue of radar jamming cancellation performance being affected by power differences between channels, this paper proposes a multi-channel automatic gain control (AGC) method to adjust the signal gains of each channel to a specific state, which can optimize the cancellation performance. Firstly, the radar multi-channel cancellation system model is introduced, then, the cancellation ratio equations for both the Signal of Interest (SOI) and jamming signals under auxiliary channel gain variations are derived in detail. These equations serve as guiding criteria for gain control. Following this, an AGC strategy is proposed to achieve optimal gain adjustment. Finally, simulation and experimental results validate the superiority of the proposed method.
