Analysis of pT spectra of Σ baryons by using Tsallis distribution function in pp, <i>p</i> -Pb and Pb-Pb collisions at LHC energies

In this paper, we have presented a detailed analysis by fitting the experimental [Formula: see text] spectra of heavy flavor baryons, including [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] in proton–proton collisions at [Formula: see text] in the mid-rapidity [Formula: see text] region. [Formula: see text] baryons are also analyzed for [Formula: see text] collisions and [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] baryons are analyzed for [Formula: see text] collisions at [Formula: see text]. We have used the nonextensive Tsallis distribution function to fit the [Formula: see text] spectra of [Formula: see text] baryons which describe the experimental data well for [Formula: see text] collisions at 7[Formula: see text]TeV. Moreover for Pb–Pb collisions, Tsallis fitting gives good results with chemical potential [Formula: see text]. The effective temperature [Formula: see text] increases with higher multiplicity classes for nonzero chemical potential in Pb–Pb collisions at [Formula: see text]. The higher multiplicity classes refer to central collisions and increase of [Formula: see text] shows the presence of radial flow.
