O USO DE TECNOLOGIAS NA MELHORIA DA ASSISTÊNCIA DE ENFERMAGEM EM SAÚDE DOMICILIAR.

The use of technologies in home nursing has grown significantly, driven by society’s demands for more agile and effective solutions. In Brazil, the National Home Care Policy (PNAD) promotes home care as a strategy to reduce hospital admissions. This study aims to analyze how the use of technologies contributes to the qualification of nursing care in the context of home health. This is an integrative literature review, developed based on scientific publications extracted from the SciELO, LILACS, BDENF and PubMed databases, through the descriptors: “Health Technology”, “Nursing” and “Home Care”, using the Boolean operator AND. Articles published between 2019 and 2024, in Portuguese and English, were considered. The selection followed previously defined inclusion and exclusion criteria, totaling 11 studies analyzed. The results showed that the use of technological tools, such as electronic medical records, mobile applications, communication platforms, remote monitoring devices and telemedicine strategies, has favored safer, faster, more personalized care with greater resolution capacity. However, important barriers were also observed, such as the resistance of some professionals to adopting new technologies, the lack of ongoing training, and the digital exclusion of some users and their families. The discussion was based on two thematic categories: the effectiveness of the use of technologies in home care and the challenges and potential of implementing these resources. It is concluded that technology is a strategic ally for home nursing, as long as it is accompanied by investments in continuing education, inclusive public policies and adequate infrastructure. The role of the nurse, in this context, is essential to promote humanized and effective care, integrating innovation and safety in care practice.
