AWARENESS AND PERCEPTION OF THE USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR LEARNING AMONG THE SOCIAL SCIENCES RESEARCH SCHOLARS IN PERIYAR UNIVERSITY – A STUDY

This paper studies the awareness and perception of using Artificial Intelligence for Learning among the Social Sciences Research Scholars at Periyar University. The survey method was used to collect data from Periyar University users. 77 filled questionnaires from Social Sciences Research Scholars were received. The respondents were chosen randomly to determine their awareness of using artificial intelligence access patterns. The study examines the level of awareness of Artificial Intelligence among users. The study is restricted to Social Sciences Research Scholars during the academic year (6th April 2025 to 27th April 2025). The study mainly followed the primary data collection method. The Questionnaire is analyzed and tabulated using SPSS version 29. The study was based on the Random Sampling Method. Simple percentile analysis has been used for analyzing the data, besides other selective, appropriate statistical tools such as the Independent Sample T-test, which are applied to test the hypothesis.
