Türkiye Orjinli Turunçgil İhracatında RASFF Bildirimlerinin Değerlendirilmesi
This study examined notifications within the scope of the European Union's Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) regarding the export of Turkish citrus fruits between 01.01.2020 and 31.12.2024. It was found that the pesticides chlorpyrifos-methyl, prochloraz and fenvalerate were subject to the highest number of notifications, particularly in orange, lemon and mandarin products. A significant increase in the number of notifications was observed in 2021, with 99 notifications, and an even greater increase in notifications relating to chlorpyrifos-methyl was detected in 2023. Therefore, disseminating methods such as Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is important for reducing pesticide residues. Additionally, it is crucial to evaluate not only horticultural practices, but also post-harvest hygiene and contact risks.
