Feed additives from local natural raw materials for cattle breeding of Yakutia

In the feed of Yakutia there is a deficiency of trace elements and vitamins, moreover, animal diets are not balanced in other nutrients. An analysis of the scientific literature and information sources showed that in feeding of cattle there is practically no data on the effect of feed additives from natural raw materials, such as zeolite-hongurine, Kempendyaiskaya salt, organomineral sapropel, coniferous fl our on the clinical and physiological state and level of productivity of animals. Therefore, a series of scientific, economic and production experiments were organized in animal husbandry of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The purpose of the work was to study feed additives from local natural raw materials and their use in cattle breeding in Yakutia. The effect of various dosages of feed additives from local natural raw materials (organomineral sapropel, coniferous fl our, zeolite-hongurine and Kempendyaiskaya salt) on the dynamics of live weight, physiological and clinical indicators of the body, digestibility and use of nutrients, mineral metabolism in feeding of young cattle of Simmental breed during the period of rearing and fattening was studied. It has been established that in the harsh natural and climatic conditions of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), in order to better optimize the feeding of young cattle, increase the digestibility of ration nutrients, ensure maximum realization of productive potential, increase the efficiency of animal husbandry, it is necessary to use as feed additives: 1) zeolite-khongurine at the rate of 0.7 g/kg and Kempendyaiskaya salt at a rate of 37 g/head; 2) sapropel at the rate of 0.7 g/kg, zeolite-hongurine at the rate of 0.7 g per/kg together with Kempendyaiskaya salt 33 g/head; 3) coniferous fl our in a dose of 50 g/head, zeolite-hongurine 0.7 g per 1 kg of live weight and Kempendyaiskaya salt 35 g/head.
