KÜTAHYA’DA GERÇEKLEŞTİRİLEN 2025 TÜRKİYE SUALTI HOKEYİ ŞAMPİYONASI: MAÇ SONUÇLARI VE PERFORMANS ANALİZLERİ

This study analyzes match data from the 2025 Turkish Underwater Hockey Championship held in Kütahya between February 6–9, focusing on U15 and U19 age groups for both girls and boys. Official records from the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation were used to conduct a retrospective and descriptive evaluation. A total of 126 matches were analyzed across four categories, examining variables such as win-loss ratios, goals scored and conceded, goal differences, and ranking points.Findings revealed that certain clubs (e.g., Deniz Yıldızları, ÇOMÜ, Derin Ege) outperformed their opponents in both offense and defense. The average goals per match ranged from 2.89 to 4.6. Frequently repeated high-margin scores indicated inequalities in training quality and youth development structures. In conclusion, success in youth underwater hockey depends not only on physical performance but also on structured training, tactical discipline, and defensive coordination. These results suggest that broader performance indicators should be considered when forming national team candidate pools and that data-driven evaluation models should be adopted to support long-term athlete development.
