The full integration of individuals with disabilities into social life is of central importance for enhancing individual quality of life and for building fair, equitable societies. This study provides a detailed examination of significant sociological issues—such as discrimination, social exclusion, stereotypes, and the lack of societal awareness—that individuals with disabilities face in society. Through a literature review method, publications from the post-2010 period, particularly those published in peer-reviewed journals indexed in the Web of Science, were examined; a multidimensional approach to the issues faced by individuals with disabilities was developed in light of key concepts such as social exclusion, discrimination, the social model, accessibility, and media representation. In this context, the relational marketing approach has been evaluated as a solution alternative that can contribute to strengthening social cohesion by establishing trust-based, sustainable relationships between disabled individuals and society. The research data, obtained through qualitative analysis methods, were thematically classified, and the findings present in the literature were systematically interpreted under each theme. The findings reveal that stereotypes and prejudices lower the social status of individuals with disabilities and lead to stigmatization, while inadequacies in media and education were observed to reduce these individuals’ visibility in society. The study emphasizes that the phenomenon of disability should be regarded as a social construct and that improving both physical and digital accessibility infrastructures, developing inclusive policies, and enhancing awareness efforts are of great importance. In conclusion, for the full integration of individuals with disabilities into social life, it is necessary to develop multidimensional intervention strategies, strengthen legal regulations, and adopt an inclusive perspective across all sectors of society. This comprehensive analysis aims to raise awareness of the social participation of individuals with disabilities and to initiate meaningful dialogue between policymakers and the community.
