Trends in the Use of Tools for Developing Export Potential in Modern Conditions
The purpose of the presented study was to identify a set of the most promising tools for developing the export potential of the state, corresponding to modern trends in economic deglobalization, characteristic of relatively low economic activity during the ongoing global economic crisis of the 2020s. The methodology of the presented study is based on dialectic methods, historical and logical research methods, observation, monitoring and generalization methods, an integrated approach method, as well as expert methods. The object of the study is the foreign economic activity of the leading countries of the world. The subject of the study is the tools for developing the export potential of the state, analyzed in the dynamics of their development. As a result of the conducted research, it was demonstrated that in the current conditions of the protracted global economic crisis of the 2020s, the trend of using tools for developing export potential has changed in developed countries, which is moving further and further away from the principle of national protectionism officially accepted by the world community. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in identifying patterns and dominant trends in the use of instruments for developing the export potential of states, which demonstrated that in the context of deglobalization of the economy, corresponding to the current global world economic crisis of the 2020s, the share of non-market instruments for developing the export potential of countries, which are components of intercountry hybrid wars, has increased compared to the declared market instruments for developing the export potential of states. The practical significance of the work consists in demonstrating non-market instruments for developing the export potential of states, as well as their coalitions, giving a short-term effect will not ensure success in long-term development, as evidenced by the successes in developing the export potential of those countries that rely primarily on the use of market instruments based on meeting the needs of the world market with a wide range of popular products that are highly competitive in terms of quality and price.
