PENGARUH USIA, UPAH DAN PENGALAMAN KERJA TERHADAP PRODUKTIVITAS KERJA KARYAWAN PADA PT MISAJA MITRA PATI
Work productivity is a crucial factor in maintaining a company’s competitiveness, particularly in the seafood processing industry that applies a piece-rate wage system. PT Misaja Mitra Pati, a shrimp processing company for the export market, faces challenges in consistently meeting production targets. Internal factors such as age, wages, and work experience are assumed to influence employee productivity. This study aims to analyze the effect of age, wages, and work experience on the productivity of production employees at PT Misaja Mitra Pati. The research population comprised 1,500 production employees, with a sample of 96 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis employed multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results indicate that age, wages, and work experience have a positive and significant effect on productivity, both partially and simultaneously. These findings highlight the importance of human resource management that considers demographic factors, fair compensation, and work experience to enhance employee productivity.
