Synthesis and Characterization of As 2 V 4 O 13 Inorganic Oxide Nanoperovskite for Solar Cells

In this investigation, an inorganic oxide nanoperovskite, As 2 V 4 O 13 , was synthesized via a cost‐effective coprecipitation method devoid of surfactant or size controller agents. We designed various types of perovskite solar cells. The advantages of manufacturing these solar cells include a simple synthesis process, easy cell assembly, low production cost, readily available raw materials, stability at room temperature, and compliance with environmental standards. Coprecipitation was employed as an inexpensive, low‐temperature method for synthesizing As 2 V 4 O 13 , and the synthesized powder was characterized using techniques such as SEM, MAP, EDS, XRD, PL, CV, UV–visible, and FTIR. Through experimental investigation, the As 2 V 4 O 13 photovoltaic perovskite behavior was examined. Despite a minor deviation from the ideal cubic structure, a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 0.076 was achieved. During the tests, we employed techniques such as tandem cell fabrication with the well‐known CsPbI 3 perovskite compound and achieved an efficiency value of 0.062 PCE. We also applied P3HT as a hole‐transfer agent and achieved an efficiency value of 0.078 PCE. Surprisingly, increasing the thickness of the perovskite layer, along with the combination of these two materials, led to an unexpectedly high recombination rate and a reduction in current density. During the cell fabrication process, we used an I − /I 3 − liquid electrolyte, while aluminum and carbon coatings on FTO‐coated glass substrates were employed as counter electrodes. These findings suggest the potential for further enhancement of vanadium perovskite inorganic oxide cell performance.
