Mechanism insights for efficient photocatalytic seawater splitting in poly(heptazine imide): inhibited ion exudation and improved charge separation
In this work, we elucidate how seawater ions modulate photocatalytic H 2 evolution in crystalline carbon nitride. We reveal that seawater ions suppress K + leaching and incorporate into the KPHI framework, enhancing photogenerated charge separation and transfer efficiency.
