A Survey on Sqli Attacks Detection and Prevention

As the increasing use of the web over the past two decades, particularly the rise in web applications that rely on databases to store important information. A critical security issue is SQL injection (SQLi) attacks, where attackers can access, manipulate, or even modify data within a database by exploiting vulnerabilities in the application's SQL queries, so this constitutes one of the major issue in web application security. This study presents a comprehensive analysis of different categories of SQL injection (SQLi) attacks and the use of various detection techniques to mitigate them. Additionally, the paper aims to propose future developments and counter measures against SQLi vulnerabilities.
