A IMPORTÂNCIA DA ENFERMAGEM NO ATENDIMENTO HUMANIZADO EM URGÊNCIA E EMERGÊNCIA

Abstract This article addresses the importance of nursing in promoting humanized care in urgency and emergency services. The research, of a qualitative and descriptive nature, was based on a literature review that highlighted the complexity of these environments, where high demand and work overload can compromise the quality of care. Humanization, based on policies such as the National Program for Humanization of Hospital Care (PNHAH) and the National Humanization Policy (PNH), highlights the nurse as a key professional. Nurses are responsible for welcoming with risk classification (AACR), for qualified listening, and for a holistic view of the patient, going beyond the biomedical perspective. The study demonstrates that, despite the challenges, the nurse’s role is crucial to ensuring the dignity and integrality of care, strengthening the principles of the Unified Health System (SUS).
