Roger Garaudy, İsrail Sorunu: Siyasi Siyonizm, çev. Cemal Aydın (İstanbul: Timaş Yayınları, 2023), 207 s.
Roger Garaudy’s The Case of Israel: A Study of Political Zionism is a comprehensive work that deals with the establishment of modern Israel and the political and ideological dynamics behind this process. In this work, translated by Cemal Aydin and published in Turkish by Timas Publications, Garaudy analyzes Zionism in its historical and political dimensions and evaluates in depth how this ideology was shaped, what impact it had on the international arena and its role in the Israeli-Palestinian issue. The book explains the historical context of the Zionist movement that developed from the 19th century onwards and analyzes how this ideology interacted with social, political and religious elements in Europe. Garaudy also draws attention to the power Zionism gained in global politics in the modern era and reveals the root causes of the problems created by artificial agendas, especially in the Palestinian territories. At this point, the author draws attention to the loss of rights suffered by the Palestinians on the one hand and emphasizes the responsibility of the international community in the face of this issue on the other. The discussions in the book reveal both the Western world's support for Israel and its effects on the Middle East in a striking way.
