Breaking the activity-stability trade-off of RuO 2 <i>via</i> a MnCo 2 O 4 electron buffer and heterointerface engineering for acidic oxygen evolution
This study develops a MnCo2O4/RuO2 heterostructure that breaks the activity-stability trade-off in acidic oxygen evolution <i>via</i> electron buffering and interface engineering. This electrocatalyst achieves a low overpotential (180 mV@10 mA cm-2) and exceptional stability (100 h@50 mA cm-2), and enables efficient acidic water splitting (1.55 V@10 mA cm-2).
