Proteins driving liquid-liquid phase separation and histone modifications cooperatively associate with chromatin looping and transcriptional regulation
Our study suggests that LLPS proteins may cooperate with transcriptional repressors to facilitate chromatin looping. Furthermore, local enrichment of histone modifications at loop-associated peaks provides additional regulatory control over chromatin architecture and gene transcription.
