Evaluating the Effectiveness of University-Business Collaboration Models for Workforce Development and Talent Acquisition

The article is dedicated to the theoretical and methodological analysis of the effectiveness of university-business collaboration models in workforce development. The primary goal of the study is to propose an approach for a comprehensive assessment of these models, including such formats as recruiting specialists from the open labor market, implementing corporate scholarship programs, organizing internships, developing joint educational projects, and executing targeted training programs. Special emphasis is placed on evaluating the direct and transactional costs incurred by each party involved in the collaboration. The study employs methods of institutional economics and transactional analysis, enabling the identification of not only explicit economic costs but also hidden factors influencing the efficiency of collaboration. The key outcome of the research is the development of a methodological framework that incorporates transactional costs, the productivity of recruited specialists, and the duration of their employment. This methodology provides a foundation for optimizing university-business interaction strategies. The findings have both academic and practical value for enhancing the efficiency of workforce development and reducing costs in university-industry partnerships.
