VR Simulator-simulator of Drilling and Blasting Operations

In the conditions of modern mining production, an important aspect is to ensure the safety and efficiency of drilling and blasting operations. This article discusses the development of a VR simulator simulator, which is designed to teach students about their professional work, safe and effective methods of performing drilling and blasting operations in mines. The aim of the study is to create a highly realistic simulation that allows users to interact with a virtual environment that simulates real working conditions in a mine. The article describes the technologies used, including 3D modeling and programming on game engines, as well as methods used to evaluate the effectiveness of the simulator. The experimental results show that the use of a VR simulator helps to improve understanding of drilling and blasting operations, increases safety and reduces the number of errors when performing tasks in real conditions. The study also revealed the positive impact of VR training on employee motivation and their willingness to learn. In conclusion, the potential of using virtual reality in educational programs for the mining industry is emphasized, as well as the possibilities for further development and improvement of the VR simulator
