Strategic Advantages and Practical Pathways of the United Front Theory in Addressing the Financial Risks Contagion
This paper explores the application of united front theory in mitigating financial risk contagion within contemporary economic systems. Fi-nancial markets' in-terconnectedness and complexity necessitate inno-vative approaches to risk management that extend beyond traditional regulatory mechanisms. The united front strategy, with its emphasis on coordinating diverse stakeholders and lev-eraging collective intelli-gence, offers a unique framework for addressing sys-temic financial vulnerabilities. Through analysis of case studies from Shanghai, Xia-men, and Inner Mongolia, this research identifies six strategic ad-vantages of united front theory in financial risk governance: consensus building, com-prehensive participation, information advantage, institu-tional coordination, cultural construction, and adaptive innovation. The study further proposes practical implementation pathways including establishing communication plat-forms, utilizing think tanks, organizing forums, developing early warning sys-tems, creating coordination mechanisms, and launching educational initiatives. Findings suggest that the united front approach enhances financial system re-sili-ence through more inclusive, representative, and comprehensive risk miti-gation strategies that complement traditional regulatory frame-works. The pa-per concludes with policy recommendations and future research directions for integrating united front theory into financial stability frameworks.
