A Comparative Study on UI/UX Design of Jewelry Wholesale App Based on B2B Wholesale Characteristics
This study aims to propose the direction of effective jewelry wholesale app design by comparing and analyzing mobile apps in the jewelry wholesale industry that are rapidly changing in the era of digital innovation. As the existing face-to-face jewelry wholesale business moves to mobile platforms, the need for professional UI/UX design based on B2B wholesale characteristics is increasing. In this study, case analysis and comparative studies were conducted on major domestic and overseas jewelry wholesale apps. The evaluation system was analyzed while comparing the UI/UX characteristics of each platform, focusing on information architecture, visual design, interactive design, content expression, functionality, usability, and brand consistency. It also supported the basis of the study while conducting expert evaluation. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that professional wholesale platforms provide comprehensive product information and wholesale-specific functions, but they need to be improved because they lack user experience, and that general-purpose platforms that can be easily accessed provide excellent accessibility and usability, but professional wholesale functions are limited. This study aims to contribute to the development of the jewelry wholesale industry through effective UI/UX analysis of jewelry wholesale apps.
