A UX Design Study on AR Technology-Based Museum Navigation System : Focusing on the Liangzhu Museum in China
The AR technology is providing a new experience for museum navigation. They overlay virtual information onto the real environment to optimize the presentation of exhibition information. However, the current systems still have some limitations in terms of user experience. Therefore, this study analyzes the current status of UX and proposes improvement measures by taking the AR navigation system of the Liangzhu Museum. This study first researches status of museum AR navigation systems through a literature review. Then, it organizes the factors affecting the experience of AR navigation systems based on the three-stage theory. Second, it studies domestic and foreign cases and derives user needs and inconveniences through a survey and feedback analysis targeting visitors. Finally, it establishes an improvement design framework centered on UX. This study aims to provide theoretical basis for optimizing the AR navigation system of the Museum, as well as provide reference materials for future application and innovation in museums.
