MEDIA LABS: DESIGN INCLUSIVO NA EDUCAÇÃO DIGITAL

This study explores the concept of Media Labs as spaces of innovation and experimentation in media and technology culture. It presents an analysis of the initiatives of the Media and Digital Inclusion Laboratory (LaMiD) at UFSC, focusing on research aimed at reducing accessibility gaps and promoting inclusion in educational contexts. The importance of the laboratory's scientific production is addressed, with research focused on the principles of inclusive design for individuals with visual and hearing impairments, as well as the elderly. The Close Reading method is utilized to analyze LaMiD's work, aiming for a thorough examination to assess the results of the research and their contributions to society. The analysis explores the main productions developed in the laboratory, seeking to generalize approaches and strategies used in works produced within the scope of inclusive design.By sharing LaMiD's practices and experiences, its trajectory and relevance to the academic community and society at large are understood. In this way, we hope to contribute to a broader dialogue on the importance of digital inclusion and the role of Media Labs in this process.
