B. A. PILNYAK’S KOLOMNA AND THE “KOLOMNA TEXT” (artistic creativity and cultural geography)
The article examines the Moscow region town of Kolomna as an object of literary and cultural study. The life and work of the famous avant-garde writer of the 1920s B. A. Pilnyak are closely connected with this town. Based on the study of his works and memoirs, a literary and historical-cultural review of Kolomna was carried out, its historical and modern architectural and cultural objects were designated, and the author’s personal perception of the city was determined. The work was carried out with the aim of understanding the methods of lexical objectification of the city as a dominant artistic image in the prose of B. Pilnyak, taking into account the extralinguistic material, as an object of cultural geography and the structural and substantive component of the «Kolomna text».
