DEVELOPING ASSERTIVE BEHAVIOUR SKILLS THROUGHTRAINING

The article is devoted to theoretical study and empirical research of the formation of assertive behaviour skills through the use of a training programme. The scientific research on the concept of assertiveness is analysed. It is substantiated that assertiveness is personalautonomy that does not depend on external assessments and influences, the ability to independently regulate one's behaviour and the ability to constructively find a way out of nonstandard situations in interpersonal relationships, while not violating the rights of others andtaking responsibility for one's own behaviour. A programme for the development of assertiveness is proposed. The effectiveness of the proposed programme has been empirically proved, which is manifested in the positive dynamics of increasing the percentage of people with medium and high levels of assertive behaviour.
