Discussion on the Path to Play the Pioneer and Model Role of College Student Party Members in the New Era

As the advanced representatives among college students, college student Party members play a vanguard and exemplary role in ideological and political guidance, organizational work, academic performance, and lifestyle. The effective exertion of their vanguard and exemplary role is not only an important task of Party building in colleges and universities but also directly relates to the enhancement of the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the Party organizations in colleges and universities. This paper analyzes the new requirements for college student Party members to play a vanguard and exemplary role in the new era and explores the paths to exert their vanguard and exemplary role from three dimensions: education and training of college student Party members, assistance platforms for college student Party members, and evaluation and supervision mechanisms for college student Party members. The aim is to provide beneficial references and guidance for colleges and universities to exert the vanguard and exemplary role of college student Party members.
