The Magistrate's Liability Derives from the Nature of Justice
The judiciary is a fundamental authority (power) of the rule of law, and one of its priority functions is to ensure respect for human rights and freedoms. Judges play a major role in the dispensation of justice and are guided in their work by the fundamental principles of the organization and functioning of the courts. The proper administration of justice also depends on the professional and personal qualities of judges. The correlation of these elements is the subject of our paper, with particular reference to the functioning of the justice system in the Republic of Moldova.
