Pendugaan Keanekaragaman Serangga di Lahan Antropogenik Dengan Pendekatan Teori Biogeografi Pulau

In biogeographic theory, the definition of an island is as an isolated habitat area, or as an area or ecosystem surrounded by other ecosystems that are completely different, such as a mainland island surrounded by the ocean, the ocean is a different ecosystem from the land. This research focuses on the effect of anthropogenic land area and size factor or island area on the level of insect diversity in three anthropogenic lands in Kuningan Regency, namely Benda Village community forest as the main island, Muncangela Village community forest and Horticultural Seedling Centre and Permanent Seedling Garden Cijoho Village as the nearest island. This study aims to determine the diversity of insects on three anthropogenic lands in Kuningan Regency. This research was conducted in November 2023-January 2024 with the method used was observation, namely conducting direct research at the location with the help of three traps, namely aerial insect net traps (Butterfy Net), land insect net traps (Sweep Net), light traps (Light Trap). For each observation time is 30 minutes until there is no addition of new species. Based on the results of the study of insect species diversity, the People's Forest of Benda Village became the largest land area and had the highest diversity level of 3,790 with the number of species found as many as 8 orders of 56 insect species with 864 individuals, followed by the People's Forest of Muncangela Village with a medium land area which had a diversity level of 3, 546 with the number of orders as many as 8 orders and 48 species of insects with 626 individuals and the last land is the smallest land UPTD Horticultural Seedling Centre and Seedling Garden has a low diversity level of 3.393 with the same number of orders of 8 orders 39 species of insects with 502 individual insects.
