Optimal Port Scheduling Model Based on Genetic Algorithm
Port scheduling, an important combinatorial optimization problem, plays a critical role in the operational efficiency of port companies. Current manual scheduling approaches often struggle to achieve optimal pilotage task assignment amidst complex and dynamic port environments. To address this limitation, this paper proposes a novel mathematical model for port task scheduling, leveraging current pilotage information and established scheduling rules, and implements an algorithmic solution for the automatic generation of pilotage task assignments. Comparative analysis demonstrates that the results from our automated scheduling significantly outperform those of actual manual scheduling, validating the effectiveness and performance gains of the proposed method. This research provides a reliable automated scheduling tool with practical validation, contributing to enhanced intelligence levels in port operations.
