Decentralized Beamforming with Intra-cell and Inter-cell Interference
In wireless communications multicell systems, typical distributed beamforming schemes usually do not take into consideration two important practical situations: (1) The concurrent existence of intra-cell interference (InCI) and intercell interference (ICI); And (2) situations where the user number surpasses the antennas number of base station (BS). The study addresses those challenges by investigating decentralized beamforming in multicell systems via zero-forcing (ZF) techniques. First, this paper puts forward a method for choosing users. This approach classifies clients into two distinct groups: one includes clients eligible to take part in the $\mathbf{Z F}$ algorithm, and the other consists of those who are not. The basis for this classification lies in the parallel usage pattern of local channels. What’s more, each base station (BS) computes its beamforming vector solely relying on local channel state information (CSI). Simulation results demonstrate that, in comparison with conventional methods, the proposed algorithm not only achieves higher data rates but also exhibits stronger robustness against inter-cell interference (ICI) under varying numbers of transmitting antennas and users.
