A Smart Water Leakage Detection System using Internet of Things
Water is a valuable asset, and pipeline leaks cause a large portion of it to be misused. New challenges were raised to detect the leakage determining the amount of water wasted and prevention of the leaks. Water waste leads to energy consumption with continued motor operation can affect the performance of the machine. An intelligent Internet of Things-based strategy is suggested to address these issues and reduce energy and water usage. The setup makes use of deliberately located sensors to identify possible leaks and exactly identify the precise location of the leak. An exclusive smartphone app sends real-time alerts with detailed information about the leakage. Furthermore, the data is transferred to an IoT-integrated cloud environment for tracking the status and storing records of the data. The proposed work is designed it automatically turn off the motor after detecting the leakage of water to reduce resource loss. Finally, this approach enables sustainable water management and also reduces power usage by integrating smart sensors with automated control for monitoring.
