Output Current Algorithm of Transcranial Electrical Stimulator Based on Particle Swarm Optimization Fuzzy PID

The output current accuracy of the transcranial electrical stimulator has a great influence on the safety and efficiency of the stimulation effect. When facing complex nonlinear systems and dynamic changes, traditional PID control has problems such as difficulty in parameter adjustment and insufficient adaptability. Although fuzzy PID solves some problems, it still cannot achieve the required control effect. In view of the above problems, this paper proposes a control algorithm based on particle swarm optimization fuzzy PID and conducts simulation verification in MATLAB. The results show that compared with traditional PID and fuzzy PID, the overshoot is reduced by 35.96% and 22.24% respectively, and the time to reach stability is reduced by 0.26 s and 0.21 s respectively. Compared with the traditional PID algorithm, the particle swarm optimization fuzzy PID control algorithm can achieve more accurate current control in a dynamically changing environment, thereby improving the safety and efficacy of transcranial electrical stimulation.
