ECCRC4c: Securing Healthcare Carbon Credits with Quantum-Resistant Hybrid Cryptography

Operations in healthcare organisations often involve participation in carbon credit markets for offsetting environmental impact and needing secure transaction systems. Our research tackles an important issue that threatens the reliability of carbon credit transactions in healthcare industry because of the double-spending vulnerability. Our research establishes two important knowledge shortages regarding security solutions for healthcare operations and quantum resistance analysis. We introduce ECCRC4c which integrates Elliptic Curve Cryptography with RC4c symmetric key encryption to mitigate the double-spending attack. Experimental trials revealed outstanding results for all required performance measurements because the approach detected more incidents quickly at a higher rate while generating substantially fewer inaccurate alerts than blockchain implementations. ECCRC4c achieved large-scale performance boost in basic operations as well as processing time that proved suitable for healthcare facilities with limited resources. Quantum resistant nature of ECCRC4c discover a new regime of security for healthcare industry to protect transaction integrity and data confidentiality during participation at global carbon markets.
