Interests - a personal resource in vocational orientation
Every individual, including people with disabilities, aspires to attain a professional and social status - a position, function, occupation, or activity that provides not only financial income but also personal satisfaction. In this context, understanding one's interests can support a conscious and successful career choice. This article presents a concise literature review on interests as internal personal resources that guide individuals toward conscious behaviors in the vocational orientation process. Additionally, it includes the results of a comparative analysis of vocational interests in individuals with disabilities versus those with typical development.
