O papel das mídias na construção de uma memória ética

This article discusses how memory is present transversally and decisively in many social phenomena and media processes, based on an analysis of the set of articles selected for the first edition of the dossier "Communication and Memory: Theoretical Perspectives and Materialities." Based on the everyday uses of media, multiple approaches are observed, both in terms of the theoretical perspectives adopted and the themes and issues studied. This journey, among other issues, highlights the role of media in the construction of an ethical memory, a horizon that leads to the reflections and dialogues that inform this Editorial.
